Our library uses Metrologic USB keyboard wedge scanners. Depending on how old the computers that will be using the staff side of Koha will be, a PS/2 keyboard wedge scanner might be needed. As far as barcodes, many sources sell pre-printed barcodes; Metrologic scanners can read Codabar and all of the various Code- types. As long as you check to make sure your scanner supports the barcode technology you&#39;re using and that your barcodes will be 20 characters or less, they should work on Koha without any problems.<br clear="all">
