It sounds like you are trying to use the old barcode generator that has
not been updated since 2004. I don't think that ever worked correctly
on windows.<br>

Someone wrote a newer barcode generator last summer that does work. If
you are using the npl template, you should have a choice to print Spine
and Barcode labels. If you use that option, you should be able to print
barcodes. The one short-coming of this option is that it does not allow
you to print a range of labels.<br>

Maybe if someone on the list could confirm that the old barcode
generator still works correctly on a nix system, we could look at
tweaking the code so it would work on windows. I think the major
problem is the way the temp directory and path are defined and possibly
some of the symbols used in the temporary file name.<br>
